9602 SBD
Voyager
The 9602 SBD Voyager was developed to control the
9602 SBD transceiver, and incorporates several useful peripherals
and interfaces to meet a wide range of applications. These
peripherals include an industry-leading GPS, a 3-axis
accelerometer, analog-to-digital inputs, digital I/O, an RS232
serial interface and on-board storage memory, all controlled by a
powerful microprocessor preloaded with a highly configurable
application that meets many application requirements, the simplest
being a GPS tracking application, which allows track data to be
viewed on a web interface with maps overlay. Weight as shown: 56g/2oz. Weight with antennas: 75g/2.6oz. Full tracking solution weight, with battery for 2200 transmitted positions: 170g/6oz

9602 SBD PowerTray
The
9602 PowerTray
is designed to carry the
Iridium 9602 Short Burst Data (SBD) satellite transceiver. The board
contains everything needed, including on-board voltage regulator, RS232 level
shifting and protection circuitry, to easily connect the 9602 transceiver to an RS232 DTE port
using a standard RS232 cable. In addition, the 9602's RF
connectors are conveniently converted to SMA-type connectors. Onboard LEDs allow the power
status and network availability to be observed at a glance. A toggle
switch is provided to control power to the unit.
The input voltage
can range from 6 to 35VDC, making it suitable for both aircraft and
vehicle systems.
